The GLC Electric is the all-new battery-electric version of Mercedes’ popular GLC SUV, built on Mercedes’ latest EV architecture with zero tailpipe emissions. It replaces the older EQC electric SUV in the UK range.
UK pricing for the electric GLC starts at around £60,350 for the base Sport specification. Higher trims such as AMG Line Premium Plus and Premier Edition go up to roughly £73,350.
There are five official UK specifications:
The electric GLC is claimed to have an electric range of up to about 406 miles on a single charge (UK WLTP estimate). It uses a 94 kWh usable battery pack and supports rapid charging at 330 kW DC. AC charging at up to 11 kW comes standard, with optional upgrades available.
At launch, the electric GLC is offered in a dual-motor AWD setup (GLC 400 4MATIC), developing around 489 hp and able to sprint from 0-62 mph in about 4.3 seconds.
The GLC Electric has significantly better range, more modern EV tech, and updated styling than the discontinued EQC. It’s also offered with faster charging and a more contemporary interior interface.
