Unlike the regular coupe version of the sizzling 750S, the Spider features a retractable hardtop that lets your ears savour the splendour of the 4.0 litre V8 petrol engine driving the car forwards.

McLaren is confident the 750S Spider boasts ‘extraordinary levels of exhilaration, precision, agility, feel and feedback… even at lower speeds’.
It’s certainly quick off the mark - with both the 750S coupe and the 750S Spider having equal power of 750 PS and accelerating from 0-62 mph in just 2.8 seconds - a shade faster than the Ferrari 296 GTB.
The 750S Spider also takes just a tenth of a second longer to reach 124 mph than the 75)S Coupe - at a remarkable 7.3 seconds.
Overall, the 750S is a true evolution of the outgoing McLaren 720S. It’s also the lightest and the most powerful series-production McLaren ever made, sitting above the McLaren Artura in the manufacturer’s ‘super series’ line-up.
Carbon fibre-shelled racing seats and ultra-lightweight forged wheels are par for the course, as is a well-appointed cabin that ensures the McLaren 750S is as poised on the road as it is on the track.
You can expect creature comforts like Apple CarPlay connectivity, a reversing camera, and a sophisticated Bowers & Wilkins sound system - as well as face-melting performance.
The 750S also features a new generation of McLaren’s renowned Proactive Chassis Control linked-hydraulic suspension, which finds the perfect balance between body control and a compliant ride quality.
