About the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N
Not content with the Ioniq 5 N winning multiple awards since its launch in 2021, Hyundai handed its electric CUV (aka ‘crossover-utility vehicle’) to its ‘N’ division.
The ‘N’ stands for both ‘Namyang’, the name of Hyundai’s R&D centre in South Korea, as well as ‘Nurburgring’, the infamous race circuit in Germany.
And with power of 650 PS, 770 Nm torque, and a 0-62 mph acceleration time of just 3.4 seconds, the Ioniq 5 N is truly honed for the track.
Yet it’s also a car that combines ‘hyper hatch performance’ with ‘everyday practicality’, according to Hyundai.
Why lease a Hyundai Ioniq 5 N?
Everything about the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been designed to put an enormous smile on the faces of lease customers.
It has a unique body, suspension set-up and drivetrain compared with the regular Ioniq 5, as well as a host of performance upgrades.
That includes an ‘N Pedal’ for exhilarating cornering, the ‘N Drift Optimizer’ to get you going sideways on a circuit, and ‘N Torque Distribution’ with an electronic limited slip differential so that you can adjust the grip according to the demands of your inner hooligan.
The ‘N e-shift’ simulates the feel of an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while ‘N Active Sound+’ pumps noise into the cabin for an ‘exciting sensory experience’ for the driver.
Which Hyundai Ioniq 5 N powertrain is right for me?
Electric
There’s just one. A 84 kWh Battery provides power of 650 PS, a blisteringly-quick acceleration time, and a range in excess of 250 miles between charges.
