The 500e Cabrio is Fiat’s soft-top version of the 500e hatchback. It comes with a retractable fabric roof that slides back at the touch of a button, taking just 25 seconds to fold into the boot lid and which can also be operated at speeds of up to 37mph.

Powering the 500e Cabio is a 42 kWh battery, just as you get with the hatchback variant.
It provides power of 118 hp and can accelerate the Cabrio from 0-62 mph in just 9 seconds.
You also get a range of up to 189 miles between charges, which is more than you get with rivals such as the Honda e or the Volkswagen e-Up!
Using a dedicated home wall box you can fully-charge the battery in 4 hours 15 minutes. You can also use a rapid charger to take the battery from 0-80% in 35 minutes.
Entry-level ‘Icon’ models come loaded with a 10.25 inch infotainment touchscreen with sat nav as well as 16 inch alloys and a vegan-friendly ‘leather’ steering wheel.
You can also expect a suite of driver assistance and safety systems as standard, including lane keep assist and advanced emergency braking.
Range-topping La Prima models add extras such as wireless mobile phone charging and an uprated sound system from renowned audio specialists JBL.
The 500e Cabrio could also be the perfect company car, falling into a low Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax bracket.
