BMW M3 Touring Review
Our review reveals why the BMW M3 Touring is an ‘unqualified triumph’, a car which takes all the best bits from the M3 Saloon and adds practicality for busy families.
The BMW M3 Competition Touring targets the sweet spot where blistering performance meets everyday practicality.
The traditionally-shaped BMW M3 is a high-performance saloon that has been dominating both the road and track since the 1980s.
And the BMW M3 Competition Touring, revised in 2024, represents a highly sought-after estate variant of the M3 that has gone down a storm with BMW ‘M’ car enthusiasts.

Like the M3 saloon, the M3 Competition Touring offers four-wheel drive poise and potency, and a ‘race-car feeling with a distinctive character and immense versatility’, according to BMW.
It’s available with either a 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine with peak power of 530 hp. That powertrain offers 650 Nm of torque and a 0-62mph acceleration time of just 3.6 seconds - which is on a par with the 470 hp Audi RS4 Avant estate.
The construction of the twin-turbo, straight-six petrol engine includes a rigid crankcase with a sleeve-free, closed-deck construction, a forged lightweight crankshaft and a cylinder head with a core manufactured using 3D printing.
And if you opt for the M Driver’s Package, the electronically-limited top speed jumps from 155 to 174mph.
A rapid-shifting, eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic comes as standard, as does electronically-controlled adaptive suspension.
The well-appointed cabin features leather sports seats, a curved glass display with 12.3 inch infotainment touchscreen, acoustic glazing for the windscreen, three-zone automatic climate control, and a premium surround sound system.
Style wise, lease customers can expect large air intakes, flared wheel arches and side skirts, and an M-specific front end adorning the aggressive exterior.
And in terms of practicality, the M3 Competition Touring features a large 500 litre boot which extends to 1,510 litres with the rear seats down.

In simple terms, leasing is the single most cost-effective and hassle free method of driving a brand-new car, and with Select Car Leasing you can be sure that you are in safe hands.
This is my second lease car through Select Car Leasing. My Account Manager was Jason Hattingh and I couldn’t have wished for a better person to deal with. From start to finish Jason was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for him during my journey. Everything was clearly explained to me, all phone calls were answered quickly, I received swift responses if I needed information and assistance. Jason’s after sales service proved to be just as positive when I had a minor technical problem which he resolved immediately for me. Jason is an excellent ambassador for Select Car Leasing and his Customer Service skills and support provided are indeed second to none. Many thanks Jason
I’ve been looked after by David Bell for many years and multiple leases. Both David and Select consistently deliver and have never let me down. Informative, professional, helpful, arrange the best leasing financing and always willing to deal with any questions - these are just a few things to describe my personal experience. The after sales is as impressive - checking in on vehicle satisfaction after delivery and willingness to deal with any issues. I can’t rate Select highly enough and in particular, my past experiences with David Bell. I sincerely would not use anyone else for my leasing requirements. Grateful for the experience so just keep doing what you do best.
From order to delivery was 2.5 weeks, Amazing speed.
