Launched in 2024, the i5 Touring joined the BMW line-up alongside the fully-electric i5 Saloon. It’s also a battery-powered equivalent to the traditionally-fuelled BMW 5 Series Touring.
BMW says its i5 Touring ‘combines responsive driving dynamics, instant electric performance and intuitive driver-focused technology with modern versatility’.
And what that means is that lease customers enjoy a smooth silent running, effortless power, and cabin that’s supremely well-equipped.
You can also expect rapid 205 kW DC charging capabilities.

The most potent, all-wheel drive BMW i5 Touring offers power of 601 hp and blistering pace, and you still get a healthy range of up to 310 miles between charges.
Which BMW i5 Touring estate trim level should I lease?
Sport Edition
The entry-level grade provides 19-inch alloys, vegan upholstery, roof rails, a 14.9-inch ‘Curved Display’ touchscreen, wireless phone charging, reversing camera, and BMW’s ‘Driving Assistant’, which includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning.
M Sport
The M Sport trim adds unique alloys and a sportier look both inside and out.
M Sport Pro
The BMW i5 M Sport Pro Touring gets additional exterior style flourishes, including a blacked-out and backlit front grille, as well as larger 20-inch alloys, red brake calipers, and a panoramic roof.
M60
Besides more power, the i5 M60 xDrive Touring adds larger 20-inch alloys and extras such as a Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System with up to 18 loudspeakers.
