The Roadster F1 Edition - created to mark the historic British firm’s return to Formula One racing - is more potent yet. Here an all-alloy quad overhead cam, 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 engine produces power of 527bhp, reducing the regular V8’s 0-62mph sprint time to just 3.7 seconds.
The F1 Edition is also marked out as distinct with its aerodynamic body kit, 21 inch wheels as well as more taut engine tuning. Those seductive, sculpted wings and inlets create an extra 200kg of downforce, compared with the regular Vantage, when being pushed to its limits.
