The Farizon V7E is an electric van designed for the cut and thrust of urban deliveries, being agile while still offering a generous cargo capacity.
The V7E is a sibling van to the slightly larger Farizon Supervan, or ‘SV’.
The smallest variants of the Farizon SV actually share a similar length to the Farizon V7E, but the V7E is narrower and more nimble, making it better suited to city driving.
The Farizon V7E also has a slightly reduced payload compared with the Farizon SV, at a max of 1,338kg.
The Farizon V7E is a medium size electric van that competes with rivals like the Kia PV5 Cargo and the Ford E-Transit Custom.
It launched with an asking price of £28,000m, ex VAT, which means it undercuts most competitors on outright purchase cost, which could make it appealing.
It’s designed to ‘make life simple for fleets of all sizes and sole traders’, according to Farizon, and boasts a straightforward line-up: there’s a single body size finished in one of three paint finishes and single, comprehensive specification.
It comes with a choice of two batteries; a 50 kWh unit or larger 67 kWh pack.
The Farizon V7E comes as standard with double sliding doors, ventilated driver’s seat, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a 360-degree camera, and Vehicle-to-load (V2L) with one 220 v / 2.2 kW socket. It also comes with a full suite of safety tech, including adaptive cruise control, lane change assist, and collision warning systems.
The futuristic Kia PV5 is a fully-electric commercial vehicle that offers a range of up to 258 miles between charges.
