Michael Longsmith along with his team worked to convert a rundown double decker bus into a mobile shelter, and his work was entered for the Pride of Reading award & then the Community Action Ark Project (CAAP) was nominated for Charity of the Year by a number of local residents & supporters.

The bus transformation idea has been a success for CAAP volunteers and will offer shelter, counselling, employment advice and medical care. And we are proud to provide the double decker bus which will help people who are really in need of it.
