The Symbioz’s E-Tech 160 full hybrid engine offers power of 160 hp courtesy of a 1.8-litre petrol engine and a 1.4 kWh battery. It never needs to be plugged in and can return in excess of 60 miles to the gallon while emitting just 97 g/km of CO2.

A mild hybrid 140 petrol engine is coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. It's available exclusively with the entry-level Techno trim and is underpinned by a 1.3-litre petrol engine. You can expect fuel economy of up to 48 miles to the gallon and CO2 emissions of 133 g/km.

The entry-level Techno Renault Symbioz boasts 18-inch alloys, a 10.4-inch touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital driver display, a sliding rear bench of seats, wireless phone charging, a rear view camera, and safety systems such as adaptive cruise control and active emergency braking.

The mid-range Techno Esprit Alpine grade adds larger 19-inch alloys, uprated interior styling, sports pedals and footrest, hands-free powered tailgate, heated front seats, and adaptive cruise control with lane centering assist.
