There are two plug-in hybrid powertrains up for grabs - the 180 hp ‘225 e-EAT8’ or the 150 hp ‘180 e-EAT8’. Both versions use a 12.4 kWh battery.
You’ll be able to travel in excess of 30 miles using electricity alone while the plug-in hybrid 408 Fastbook is highly fuel-efficient.
Charging will also prove simple. Using a 7.4 kW wallbox - and a 7.4 kW charger - you can expect a full energy replenish in just an 1 hour 40 minutes.
Meanwhile a self-charging ‘HYBRID’ powertrain, introduced in 2024, marries a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 28hp electric motor to offer improved performance, lower CO2 emissions and increased fuel efficiency.
