About the BMW iX2
Unveiled in 2023, the iX2 slots into BMW’s range between the smaller iX1 and the larger iX3.
Coming with all-wheel drive as standard, and launched in ‘xDrive30 M Sport’ trim - the iX2 makes use of a 64.8 kWh battery that provides power of 313 hp and 494 Nm of torque.
A pair of electric motors ensure the iX2 can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 5.6 seconds - which is ever so slightly slower than the mid-range, all-wheel drive Ford Mustang.
BMW quotes a range of between 259 and 266 miles between charges, depending on conditions, while DC charging up to 130kW can boost the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in 29 minutes.
