The Vauxhall Vivaro van stacks up really well against competitors, boasting a bigger payload - at 1,458 kg - than the VW transporter yet with more affordable leasing costs.
The Vivaro also recently scooped the ‘Best Practicality’ gong at the What Car? Van of the Year Awards 2021.

And now the Vivaro can be enjoyed in all-electric form, in the shape of the Vivaro-e. This is a medium van with a range of up to 205 miles between charges - if you opt for the largest battery - meaning it can travel further than any other electric van on a single charge.
The electric Vivaro-e comes as either a regular panel van or with a double cab. And if you choose the larger wheelbase, the payload actually increases to 1,415kg.
In base ‘Dynamic’ trim you still get equipment like cruise control, nearside and offside sliding side-access doors, a 7-inch colour touchscreen and rear parking sensors.
Meanwhile there’s either a 50 kWh battery or a larger 75 kWh unit, which sees the range rise accordingly. With a 100 kWh charger, you can replenish the battery from flat to 80% in as little as 30 minutes.
A great alternative to electric vans like the Mercedes-Benz eSprinter and the Peugeot e-Expert, it’s also important to remember that if you’re using the van for private use, a zero emission load-lugger, like the Vivaro-e, will mean significant savings in terms of any Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax owed to HMRC.
