Mercedes X Class Frequently Asked Questions
Who would have thought that you could lease a luxury pickup truck? Happily, Mercedes-Benz has created the X-Class, a tough truck that can traverse mountains as easily as it can tackle the Waitrose car park. When there’s only one luxury truck on the market, you’ll be part of an exclusive club that can tackle a tough day's work before relaxing in impressive refinement on the way home. There’s even a high-performance model (at least in pickup truck terms) that will show a clean pair of tailpipes to many a hot hatch.
While the headlines will be made by the V6-powered X 350, there’s a range of X-Class models that run from sensible and economical to powerful and statement-making. The difference in monthly lease rates reflects the range in models, so use the Select Car Leasing model chooser to find the right pickup for you. We constantly update the rates so you’ll always have our best deal, but don’t forget to look out for our special offers - a luxury truck could be more attainable than you think.
Mercedes has worked hard to ensure the X-Class is worthy of the three-pointed star on the grille. There’s a sense of purpose that exudes from the exterior, but it’s when you step inside that you realise the X is a luxury model. The iconic star-shaped air vents lined up on the dashboard and the large infotainment screen highlight the attention to detail, while the luxurious seats and extensive equipment list will keep you comfortable and entertained throughout any journey - even if it’s off-road. Yes, despite its good looks, the X-Class is as happy ploughing through mud and ruts as it is thrusting along the motorway, making it a great choice for a fashion-conscious small business.
In developing the X-Class, Mercedes borrowed experience and technology from Nissan, which means the pickup has all of the modern safety equipment you’d expect. There are countless airbags, should the worst happen, but you’ll also find plenty of equipment to help you avoid any accident in the first place; there’s active lane keeping, a speed limiter, reversing camera, traffic sign recognition, emergency brake assist, and even child seat recognition to ensure your little ones are as protected as possible. Available only as a double cab, there are five seats so the whole family will fit, while the boot (or load bed) is enormous.
The Mercedes-Benz X-Class range starts with the Progressive model. This slightly oddly named trim includes essentials such as climate control, an eight-speaker sound system and a reversing camera. Element adds roof rails, Artico leather upholstery and some rather bold graphics, while the Power level tops the range. This includes electric heated seats, keyless entry, impressive 18-inch alloy wheels and high performance LED lights. You’ve also got a choice between two 2.3-litre diesel engines and the powerful 3.0-litre V6 diesel for those feeling profligate.
Great service from Ali with constant updates. Delivery of the vehicle was well executed
Great experience. Helpful, patient, not pushy sales. The Sales rep (Lee) was great and even managed to get me a car sooner. When I was undecided between a few cars, although he wasn’t allowed to give me advice on the car (which is understandable) he was very responsive by email as I asked about spec, lead times and price.
Janine was externally helpful through the process, early delivery! Can’t recommend them enough Thanks
