About the VW e-Transporter van
The Transporter has long been a firm fixture of the VW range and it’s an iconic LCV that’s now in its seventh generation.
From 2025 onwards, VW launched a revamped e-Transporter to sit alongside the traditionally-fuelled, diesel powered VW Transporter (which you can also lease with Select).
The e-Transporter is available as both short wheelbase and long wheelbase variants, with a max payload of up to 1,166 kg.
A decent 2.3-tonne towing capacity and a 236-mile max range also makes the VW e-Transporter easy to live with on a day-to-day basis.
Besides the popular panel van, the VW e-Transporter is also available as the 5-seat Kombi (short or long wheelbase) and 8-seat Shuttle (8 seats as standard, 9 seats optional).
Why lease the VW e-Transporter van?
If you’re considering a VW e-Transporter lease, chances are you want the Transporter’s reputation for reliable motoring coupled with a zero-emissions powertrain.
A 70 kWh battery is available with various power outputs ( 136 PS, 218 PS and 286 PS) and unlocks a range of up to 236 miles on a single charge.
Rapid charging at 125 kW DC can take the energy in the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes.
Meanwhile the VW e-Transporter is also available with a 4Motion all-wheel drive system which works closely with Electronic Stability Control (ESP) and traction control for the best possible road grip.

Paul whom I dealt with was extremely helpful the only issue I had was with Mobilise as their website doesn’t work making the experience of leasing totally frustrating
I’ve just leased my new car through Select Car Leasing and had a really positive experience from start to finish. As someone who had never leased a car before, I found the whole process surprisingly simple and straightforward thanks to their support. They took the time to talk me through all the options, explain the paperwork clearly, and answer any questions I had along the way. In particular, Joanne Atkinson was incredibly helpful, patient, and professional throughout the process. As a first-time lease customer, I had plenty of questions, and Joanne never made me feel rushed or that any question was too small or insignificant. She took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood each step and was comfortable with the decisions I was making. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and her friendly, approachable manner made the whole experience much less daunting than I expected. Her knowledge, responsiveness, and willingness to help gave me confidence throughout the process and made what could have been a complicated experience feel very straightforward. I’d definitely recommend Select Car Leasing to anyone considering leasing a car, especially if it’s your first time.
