Nissan Townstar Lease

There are two main variants of the petrol-powered Townstar - which sits behind the larger Primastar and Interstar Nissan vans - in the form of the shorter ‘L1’ wheelbase and the longer ‘L2’.

The L1 Townstar has a payload of 600 kg and 3.3 cubic metres of loadspace. The L2, on the other hand, takes load space up to 4.3 cubic metres while the payload is 800 kg.

There are four main trim levels to choose from, which run from base ‘Visia’ through to ‘Acenta’, ‘Tekna’ and range-topping ‘Tekna+’.

And the good news for lease customers is that entry-level Townstar models are generously equipped as standard.

A Visia Townstar lease comes loaded with a full-width bulkhead, deadlocks, automatic headlights and wipers, and a DAB sound system with full phone connectivity.

The top-of-the-range Tekna+ trim, meanwhile, adds a host of extras, such as an 8 inch infotainment screen, front, rear and side parking sensors, a 360 degree camera, intelligent ‘Park Assist’, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and traffic sign recognition.

Meanwhile the maximum braked towing capacity of the petrol-powered Townstar is 1,500kg.
