About the Nissan Primastar van
It’s fair to say that the Nissan Primastar has been on something of a journey since it first launched here in the UK.
Having arrived as the ‘Primastar’ in 2002, that particular name was jettisoned in favour of the ‘NV300’ in 2014 - before Nissan reversed its decision and went back to the ‘Primastar’ name once again in 2022!
With the Primastar name now having stuck, what you get is a medium-sized van that competes with heavyweight rivals like the Ford Transit Custom and Toyota Proace.
Thanks to a long-standing alliance between Nissan and Renault, the Primastar also shares much in common with the Renault Trafic.
