Dawsongroup has expanded its fleet of Iveco Daily vans following positive customer feedback. The international supply chain company has ordered an additional 270 vans to join the 350 Daily vans added to the fleet last year.
Iveco UK’s light business line director, Mike Cutts:
“It’s fantastic to see so many derivatives of the Iveco Daily form part of this fleet as it really highlights the model’s sheer versatility. We’re also delighted that Dawsongroup has extended its interest into Iveco’s LCV offering alongside its heavy vehicles.”
The Dawsongroup order comprises a mix of van configurations, including 3.5-tonne Daily vans, chassis cab models with Luton boxes, single and crew cab tippers, dropsides, and tool pod tipper bodies.
Boasting a maximum payload of 1,154kg and a 3.5-tonne towing capacity, Dawsongroup’s customers can confidently tackle even the most demanding tasks.
Calvin Moore, Dawsongroup vans Fleet Director:
“In addition to the five different sub-derivatives we already have on fleet from Iveco, we’re introducing panel van derivatives later in 2023. These will be a welcome — and substantial — addition to the fleet.”
Powered by a 2.3-litre diesel engine generating 140hp and 370Nm of torque, the Iveco Dailys are well-suited for work with construction and utility companies.
The new durable manual gearbox is an ideal choice, offering improved clutch endurance — an increase of 18% compared to the previous model — and more precise gear change motion, with free play reduced by 50%.
Each Iveco Daily van comes well-equipped, featuring manual air conditioning, cruise control, fog lights, and electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors.
Hi-Adaptive memory foam seats, designed to reduce pressure peaks by up to 30%, are fitted as standard across all models, enhancing comfort and reducing fatigue.
City Mode, a system that minimises steering effort, enables drivers to easily leverage the Daily's class-leading turning circle.
Driver Pal, powered by Amazon Alexa, is another feature that simplifies life for Dawsongroup customers. The driver assistant allows users to manage route planning, receive fuel efficiency advice, and monitor vehicle health through voice commands.
With Dawsongroup vehicles expected to cover between 26,000 and 100,000 miles per year across various applications, reliability and peace of mind are crucial for users. Each Iveco Daily includes a three-year, unlimited mileage warranty to bolster driver confidence.
