The Citroen e-Relay - a rival to the Peugeot e-Boxer and the Vauxhall Movano Electric- enjoyed a major facelift for 2024, which saw it gaining fresh styling and improved tech and comfort levels.
The large van is underpinned by a 110 kWh battery that unlocks a range of up to 261 miles between charges.
You also get decent power of 122 bhp, 400 Nm of torque and brisk acceleration to keep you up with traffic, whatever load you’re carrying.
Three distinct driving modes will help you balance performance with economy, while four levels of regenerative braking ensures you’re always able to channel power back into the battery.
The Citroen e-Relay is fitted as standard with an 11 kW on-board charger, which can fully recharge the battery in 12 hours, while 150 kW can replenish the energy to 80% full in just 55 minutes.
Mid-range e-Relay variants feature a 5-inch display screen, while range-topping models enjoy a 10-inch touchscreen with sat-nav and smartphone integration. You can enjoy creature comforts like wireless phone charging, a camera-fed digital rear-view mirror, and a 360-degree parking radar.
And the Citroen Relay can also be equipped with driver assistance and safety systems such as adaptive cruise control and ‘traffic jam assistance’ which, at speeds of up to 18 mph, allows the system to autonomously control the van’s steering, braking and acceleration.
