MAN is marking 10 years of the TGE with a new UK special edition model, celebrating a decade since the large van was first revealed.
The MAN TGE made its debut at the 2016 IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover, giving MAN Truck & Bus a presence in the large van market for the first time. Since then, the TGE has become an important part of the brand’s commercial vehicle line-up, sitting below MAN’s heavier trucks.
To mark the anniversary, MAN has launched the TGE 10 Year Edition, based on a 3.5-tonne long-wheelbase front-wheel-drive panel van.
The special edition uses MAN’s 2.0-litre Euro 6 diesel engine, producing 140hp and 360Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Extra equipment as standard
The 10 Year Edition comes with a strong standard specification, including digital instruments, LED headlights, Climatic air conditioning, a rear-view camera, heated and folding electric mirrors, and a cargo space floor with loading sill protection.
It also gets MAN’s Media Van Navigation Business system with a 12.9-inch touchscreen, along with a multifunction steering wheel, electronic parking brake with Auto-Hold and Keyless Start.
Safety and driver assistance equipment includes fatigue detection, traffic sign information, intelligent speed assist, cruise control, emergency brake assist, Active Lane Guard, tyre pressure monitoring and parking assist.
Finished in Indium Grey metallic paint, the model is also marked out with 10 Year Edition badging on the radiator grille and steering wheel.
A decade of the MAN TGE
Around 200,000 TGE vans are now on the road globally, including approximately 21,000 in the UK. More than 30,000 examples were sold worldwide in 2025.
To keep it fresh, the TGE range has recently received a wider update, known as Next Level, bringing a redesigned cockpit, new electronic architecture and expanded safety and assistance systems.
Over the past decade, the TGE has been offered in a wide range of forms, including panel vans, chassis cabs, minibuses and specialist conversions. MAN is also using the anniversary to highlight its wider service support, including MAN Mobile24 roadside assistance and maintenance packages.
