The Best New Cars Of 2014 Soon Available For Personal Car Leasing
Some car manufacturers have now released their 2014 cars, with many coming before the new 14 registration plates were introduced back in March, however there are still many more to come throughout the year. Registration of new cars has risen by 17.7% compared with last year, showing a dramatic resurgence in the market.
Here are some of the biggest car releases of 2014 which will soon be available for personal car leasing:
- BMW 2 Series Released in March, this is BMW's replacement for the 1 Series coupe and features new styling, an improved interior and numerous new technology features. It is available in a 228i model, which has a turbocharged 2 litre engine with 240 hp which goes from 0-60mph in 5.4 seconds. And an M235i model which has a turbocharged 3 litre engine that produces 322 hp and does 0-60mph in just 4.8 seconds.
- Lexus CT 200h Also released in March, this is a hybrid luxury compact model which combines comfort with sporty features with excellent fuel economy. It has the same 1.8 litre hybrid engine which has been successful on the Toyota Prius, and produces 134hp. Its clever engine design will run at 43 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the motorway.
- Nissan Qashqai Last years What car? car of the year has already had a new version released in January, which has seen a few improvements made to the highly popular original model. It has lowered its CO2 emissions down to just 99g/km thanks to a 1.5 turbodiesel engine that turns in 74.3mpg combined economy. Or there is a 1.6 litre version which is four wheel drive and runs at 57.6mpg.
- Volkswagen e-Golf & e-Up This year energy efficiency and electric motors are going to be integrated further into the industry, with models such as the classic Golf and relatively recent Up due to be some of the first mainstream cars to be turned electric only. The e-Golf has a motor that produces 114bhp with a range of 118 miles, while the e-Up has a smaller 81bhp motor which has a range of 93 miles.
