TOYOTA C-HRSo, let’s see the highlights of the new C-HR here:

It’s a hybrid & petrol engine car

As we all know, Toyota is one of the leading auto manufacturers in the world producing a high volume of eco-friendly green cars and the C-HR is set to join this range. It will be fully hybrid and powered by Toyota’s 1.8 litre hybrid system to emit less than 90g/km of CO2 with a combined fuel consumption of 74.3 mpg.

The hybrid variant is on the same platform as the Toyota Prius and will be powered by the same 1.8 litre petrol engine that drives with electric motor.

So, if you are a company car driver the hybrid version will keep your tax bills low. Even the entry level model Icon comes with generous amount of standard equipment to keep you safe and entertained in long journey.

The car also comes with 1.2 litre Petrol Turbo engine in a choice of six speed manual and automatic transmission which has slightly less power than the hybrid variant. There is no diesel variant available as the Toyota C-HR is specifically designed to be the top selling hybrid powertrain.

It is safe to say – the Toyota C-HR is one of the most distinctive looking cars that you’re likely to see on the road this year. Looking at the car, it features an aggressive back with an intricate mix of sharp lines, curves and smooth turns. Its rear-door handles are embedded at the top as part of the rising- design flow which are easy to reach and use.
