Volkswagen T-Roc Hatchback Lease

The stylish T-Roc is a compact SUV-hatchback crossover from Volkswagen that sits in the firm’s range between the smaller T-Cross and the larger Tiguan.

And there really is a T-Roc for all occasions, giving lease customers the option of all-wheel drive, petrol and diesel engines, and potent performance with the 300 PS ‘R’ models.

A leasing rival to crossovers like the Ford Puma, Skoda Karoq and the Audi Q2, the T-Roc can also be leased as a quirky convertible.

Whichever T-Roc you choose, you can expect it to be generously equipped as standard, with entry-level models featuring sophisticated tech such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane keep assist.

About the Volkswagen T-Roc

First unveiled in 2017, the eye-catching T-Roc has established itself as one of Volkswagen’s best-selling vehicles. And it’s not hard to see the appeal.

The T-Roc is spacious, coming with generous amounts of room for rear passengers as well as a large 444-litre boot, which is plenty more than the 380-litre VW Golf hatchback.

There are multiple variants available to lease, whether you’re looking for a dependable family load-lugger or an adrenaline-inducing hot-SUV.

Meanwhile the T-Roc is also one of the most generously equipped vehicles in its class, coming with a full suite of driver assistance technology as standard.

Why lease a Volkswagen T-Roc?

You might first look at the T-Roc because you want a premium crossover from VW, but you need something larger than the manufacturer’s smaller T-Cross or Taigo.

The T-Roc is also unique in that it offers petrol and diesel powertrains as well as ‘4Motion’ all-wheel drive across multiple trim levels.

While the T-Roc is a perfect family car, it’ll also appeal to petrolheads, with the range-topping ‘R’ models able to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 4.9 seconds.

And you’ll also lease the affordable VW T-Roc because it comes loaded with kit, no matter which variant you choose.

Which Volkswagen T-Roc engine is right for me?

Petrol

The entry-level petrol is a 1.0-litre unit with power of 110 PS, while a 1.5-litre petrol engine ups the power to 150 PS. A larger 2.0-litre mill with 190 PS and all-wheel drive is also available. Meanwhile the T-Roc R gets a 2.0-litre petrol with 300 PS.

Diesel

VW’s 2.0-litre diesel TDI engines feature prominently with the T-Roc, with power outputs varying from 115 PS to 150 PS. The 150 variants can also be leased with 4Motion all-wheel drive.

Which Volkswagen T-Roc trim level should I lease?

Volkswagen T-Roc Review

The VW T-Roc blends the off-road style and raised ride height of an SUV, with the handling and practicality of a hatchback. It’s also a great lease alternative to the Nissan Juke. We’ve also tested the performance version - the T-Roc R - and found it to be an ‘excellent all-rounder’.

Chris was great, very helpful and looked through lots of different options with me as I didn’t know which car I wanted. He looked over both new and used deals and he gave lots of advice, would definitely recommend!

Selected a car, and got a call back within 2 hours. Spoke to the consultant and got the order booked in there and then. Once confirmed the car was in stock, all paperwork was completed online with no issues and car arrived as agreed, 2 weeks later. With updates provided by Russell and James (select care team), a very positive experience.
