Nissan Qashqai Lease
The Nissan Qashqai has become one of the UK's leading SUVs in recent years, thanks to its no-nonsense blend of impressive practicality and market-leading innovation.
It’s the original SUV crossover - a key rival to the likes of the Kia Sportage and the Renault Kadjar - and the Nissan Qashqai is still one of the best in the segment.

The Qashqai enjoyed a design overhaul for 2021, coming with a fresh new look and fuel-saving petrol-electric hybrid technology.
It’s also now 35mm longer, 25mm taller, and 32mm wider than previous models, which equates to more space for passengers - including 28mm more knee room for occupants in the rear, a boot with an extra 50 litres of luggage capacity.
The new third generation Qashqai is offered as either a petrol-electric mild hybrid or clever self-charging hybrid - neither of which needs to be plugged in but offers a reduction in petrol consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
That’s good news when it comes to company car Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax implications, while the self-charging hybrid Qashqai offers the acceleration of a typical EV without needing to be recharged.
Sitting between the Juke and the X-Trail in the Nissan SUV range, the Qashqai could be all the car you’d ever need.

About the Nissan Qashqai
The Nissan Qashqai hit the UK’s roads for the first time in 2007 after going into production in late 2006.
Since then, as a small SUV crossover, it’s been a popular alternative to the once-traditional family hatchback.
It is now on its third generation, and its looks are more aggressive nowadays, with a sizeable u-shaped chrome bar at the front and split scimitar-like headlights.
The Qashqai has a far more chiselled appearance nowadays, which can even be seen in the '3D' creases on the doors.
The Nissan’s interior is a lot nicer nowadays, too – plus the Qashqai is very comfortable, quiet and good to drive.
Why lease a Nissan Qashqai?
One of the main reasons to lease a Nissan Qashqai is that you’ll be following in the footsteps of so many other happy Qashqai customers.
The Qashqai has been a supremely popular car since it was first launched – and now, thanks to its latest overhaul in 2021, it’s better than ever.
Not only does it offer superb practicality at an affordable leasing price, but it's very comfortable. The Nissan makes driving effortless, and a choice of economical powertrains, including a unique and innovative hybrid model, backs it up.
The Qashqai is exceptionally safe, too, boasting plenty of driver assistance technology, achieving some of the highest overall safety ratings ever recorded. At the same time, the latest model has modernised looks, inside and out.
Which Nissan Qashqai fuel type is right for me?
The Qashqai isn’t available with diesel engines nowadays, but there’s still a choice of petrols and a hybrid.
Petrol
Two petrol engines are available, both of which are 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinders: the DIG-T 140 producing 140PS and the DIG-T 158 whipping up 158PS. Both have some mild-hybrid technology.
Hybrid
The 190PS e-Power is a rare setup, comprising a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol and an electric motor. But rather than the engine and motor combining as in most hybrids, the power unit isn't connected to the wheels, so it effectively acts as a generator to give life to the electric motor. In effect, it’s a self-charging hybrid, but not in the conventional sense.
Which trim level should I lease?
There are five trim levels on the Qashqai: Visia, Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna+.
What vehicles are similar to the Nissan Qashqai that I should consider?
The Nissan Qashqai was one of the trailblazers in the crossover SUV market, but nowadays, it's saturated – and the competition is extremely strong. So, you might want to consider four alternatives: the Volkswagen Tiguan, the Skoda Karoq, Kia Sportage and the Honda CR-V.

The Nissan Qashqai is an excellent all-rounder, providing a pleasant and roomy interior with the practicality of an SUV at the leasing price of a small family hatchback. With dynamic looks, a choice of economical powertrains and even a unique hybrid system in its ePower model, there’s a worthwhile choice available to suit all budgets.
While Nissan prefers to focus on comfort over performance or handling prowess, the Qashqai is still enjoyable to drive, making light of demanding journeys. At the same time, its third-generation overhaul in 2021 has given it a new lease of life, with modernised looks and an overhauled interior that looks inviting and cosy.
With several trim levels on offer, plus a hybrid model, your choice will significantly influence the leasing price of a Nissan Qashqai. I had a great first experience with leasing from Select car leasing and am so happy with my new car David talked me through the whole process and answered any questions I had..he explained everything in basic terms so I knew and understood everything We waited a few days for the credit checks to come back and I asked David if it usually took this long..he assured me it did so I think it was about 5 working days and he rang with the good news The paperwork side of things then took over and once that was all completed,it was just to wait for a date The whole process was done over the portal so you could keep up to date with any developments but if you had any questions, then David was reachable by phone We had a date for the car delivery and the driver turned up after giving me a ring, earlier in the morning to confirm a time..the car arrived and I checked it over as we had to sign to say say everything was OK with the car. All is great and am so happy with my new car I would highly recommend this company for your lease car
They were very customer focused and friendly as well as very price competitive.
Excellent customer service. Well impressed with the process. Certainly will recommend.
