Mini Hatchback Lease
Retro charm meets sophisticated modern technology with a MINI hatchback lease, a car that never gets old despite having decades of history under its belt.
The MINI hatchback is available in two distinct forms - as a three-door or five-door model - and while both cars are compact, you might be pleasantly surprised with the amount of interior space that they offer.
We’re focusing here on the petrol-powered MINI hatchback. If you want to go electric, head to our MINI Cooper Electric pages.

It’s available to lease in myriad trim levels and special editions, so you really can pick the model that’s best-suited to you.
And no matter which version you choose, the MINI hatchback will be seriously well-equipped. A heavily revamped MINI Cooper hatchback arrived in 2024, bringing with it a 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen complete with 'Spike', your very personal voice assistant.
If you really want to make the most of a MINI’s trademark ‘Go-Kart’ handling, you’ll want to lease a John Cooper Works model, which comes with power of 231 hp and aggressive exterior styling.

About the MINI hatchback
While the first ever MINIs hit British roads back in the 1950s, the one you can lease today is underpinned by precision German engineering, with BMW having relaunched the marque back in 2001.
The BMW ownership is important - because it means the MINI enjoys sophisticated engines with real pulling power as well as slick, precision gearboxes that truly increase driving pleasure.
The first 5-door MINI hatchback arrived in 2014, sitting on a longer wheelbase than the 3-door variant, and gives more room in the rear for passengers as well as a larger boot.
The only downside to the 5-door MINI hatch is that it’s not available in the raucous John Cooper Works grade.
Why lease a MINI hatchback?
You lease the MINI hatchback because you want timeless exterior design as well as go-kart handing to put a smile on your face.
The MINI hatch enjoyed a major refresh in 2024, which gave the pocket-rocket modern new lines and more sophisticated tech.
While the MINI might not be the biggest car in the supermini class, what it lacks in stature it makes up for in the fun stakes.
And because the MINI is so compact and lightweight, even the performance engines return pleasing levels of fuel economy.

Your Complete Guide To Car Leasing
In simple terms, leasing is the single most cost-effective and hassle free method of driving a brand-new car, and with Select Car Leasing you can be sure that you are in safe hands.
Darren was easy to deal with, explained everything, always helpful on each occasion we spoke. Darren was my main contact but others I spoke with were equally good to deal with. If I wanted to lease in the future I would come back to this company.
My experience with Select Car leasing has been excellent. Sarah Schatynski the agent I had was very professional and provided excellent customer service throughout, explaining the process and sorted out any requests very efficiently, and even called me the day after I had received my vehicle to make sure everything was ok. I received regular updates about my car from others team members both via email and my select car account. In my view a very well run company.
I have been using select for a number of years now and I have always had an excellent service from them. The process is seamless and they are very competitive with their pricing. I would like to highlight Richard who as always is extremely helpful and professional.
