Land Rover Defender 110 Lease

The original Defender was built for a staggering 68 years, production ending in 2016.

But the dependable icon, a rugged sibling to the Land Rover Discovery, has been reinvented for the 21st century - and the fact that it picked up the 2021 World Car Design of the Year gong at the annual World Car Awards tells you everything you need to know about the Defender’s rebirth.

While the ‘90’ model is the two-door variant, the full fat ‘110’ is a four-door version that can also be configured with a third row of seats, and makes a great alternative to the Mercedes-Benz G Class or the Jeep Wrangler.

There are myriad configurations to be had with a 110 lease, and it also comes as a 110 ‘Hard Top’ - which is an old Land Rover phrase which essentially means the rear seats have been removed to create a cavernous 2,000 litres of van-like load space.

There’s a host of models available, from the regular Defender to the mean and moody Defender V8 Carpathian Edition, which boasts a 5.0 litre engine with power of 525 PS and a 0-62mph acceleration time of 5.1 seconds. There’s also an economical ‘P400se’ plug-in hybrid, too.

And there are also various trim levels, from base Defender through to the range-topping ‘HSE’.

Inside the refined cabin lease customers enjoy a 10 inch infotainment touch screen, eight-way heated seats, a 3D surround camera, a 360° Parking Aid as well as wade sensing.

And like the Defenders of old, the new model is adept off-road, featuring All Wheel Drive, a twin-speed transfer box, coil suspension, and Land Rover’s ‘Terrain Response’ system, which adjusts your vehicle to engage the optimum settings for any given driving conditions, based on information provided by the driver.
