Kia EV6 Lease

If you’re after a performance car, then it’s unlikely you’ll be considering a Kia – but that means you’re probably unfamiliar with the EV6, so let us enlighten you.

Kia’s all-electric EV6 SUV doesn’t just boast bold futuristic styling - with a range of up to 316 miles between charges it’s right up there with the industry’s best.

The EV6 is a superb car that looks sporty, futuristic and attractive - and its performance and handling are more than a match for its cosmetics.

Although it’s in an ever-growing marketplace, it’s been quite a hit since it was launched and could have enough about it to tempt you away from the premium brands.

It sits in Kia’s all-electric range besides the Soul EV and the e-Niro.

And with coupe-like lines, an eye-catching ‘Digital Tiger Face’ grille, a low air intake that visually widens the front of the car, and a flat floor for optimum aerodynamics, it certainly looks the part.

A leasing rival to the likes of the VW ID.4 or Ford Mustang Mach-E, the EV6 is powered by a 77.4 kWh battery which not only delivers a great range, but can also accommodate ultra fast charging which generates 60 miles worth of charge in just 4.5 minutes. Make sure your getting the most out of every charge by picking your ideal charger.

There are four trim levels available - EV6, GT-Line, GT-Line S and the range-topping GT.

The GT-Line and GT-Line S models are both available as either rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive models, while the GT comes as an AWD only.

Even base EV6 models are lavishly appointed, with a curved panoramic display and twin 12.3 inch touchscreens, 19 inch alloys, black vegan leather upholstery, ambient lighting, heated steering wheel, rear parking sensors and smart cruise control.

And if you want a lease car that really puts a grin on your face, then you’ll want to opt for the GT. The performance you get from leasing a EV6 GT is nothing short of ballistic.

It’ll accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds. Kia was so confident about it annihilating the competition it put the EV6 in a 400 metre drag race, competing against the Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG GT, McLaren 570S, Porsche 911 Targa 4, and Ferrari California T. The result? Only the McLaren was quicker.

What's also brilliant about the EV6 is that because there are zero emissions, you'll pay just a 1% Benefit in Kind (BIK) company car tax rate for the year 2021/22.

If you want to get behind the wheel of a car that’s ‘modern, sleek and aerodynamic’, according to Kia, and which has ‘dynamism and purpose’, don't hesitate to email us at enquiries@selectcarleasing.co.uk or alternatively call us on 0118 920 5130 and one of our friendly staff will be happy to help.

About the Kia EV6

The Kia EV6 was launched as Kia's first-ever electric car - arguably one of the best around, winning European Car of the Year.

Despite its young age and Kia still being new to electric vehicles, it's won rave reviews not just as a good Kia but as a car capable of holding its own against the very best.

It has an aggressive front end and a unique rear end, and it looks the part.

It comes very well equipped as standard, with even more sprinkle as you go further up the range.

Why lease a Kia EV6?

Kia’s EV6 provides SUV-like practicality with more than hot-hatchback performance.

If you need a spacious car to fit several passengers, it can accommodate your request. But if you want a tearaway that can bang elbows with some of the fastest motors in the world, it can do that too.

There are numerous variants with different levels of power, but all come packed with features that will easily rival its competitors, with a lovely interior to match.

If you’ve regarded Kia as an also-ran brand up until now, then prepare to be very pleasantly surprised.

Which trim level should I lease?

There are three trim levels on the Kia EV6: Air, GT-Line and GT-Line S.

Between them, they offer a choice of a 230PS single-motor variant with rear-wheel drive and a 325PS dual-motor variant with all-wheel drive.

All models come generously equipped and have a 77.4kWh battery, which is good enough for a range of 328 miles in the rear-wheel drive versions, and 316 miles in the all-wheel drive versions.

The entry-level trim is only available in rear-wheel drive but has 19-inch alloys, dual 12.3-inch screens, vegan leather upholstery, heated front seats/steering wheel and smart cruise control, plus a smart entry system with a start/stop button.

GT Line

GT Line

The mid-range trim offers a choice of rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, getting premium relaxation black and white suede seats in the front, a wireless phone charger and LED headlights with automatic high beams, as well as some sportier exterior styling.

GT Line S

GT Line S

The top-of-the-range trim gets larger 20-inch alloy wheels, an automatic boot lid, a glass panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, remote smart parking assist and a Meridian premium sound system.

What vehicles are similar to the Kia EV6 that I should consider?

Kia’s EV6 has few direct rivals, as it's a sporty SUV crossover, so it is bigger than a standard hatchback but smaller than a large 4x4.

Nevertheless, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is the nearest competitor, along with the Tesla Model Y.

Volkswagen’s all-electric ID.4 is also worth looking at, along with the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV

Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV

Ford’s all-electric offering is arguably a sportier all-round driving experience, although it’s not as spacious as the EV6.

Tesla Model Y SUV

Tesla Model Y SUV

The Model Y is the largest car Tesla makes and is a step up in luxury, but it's also a step up in price.

Volkswagen ID.4 SUV

Volkswagen ID.4 SUV

The VW ID.4 is a decent middle-of-the-road competitor and may offer a lower-budget solution, but the EV6 is superior in range, performance and athletic looks.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 SUV

Hyundai Ioniq 5 SUV

The Ioniq 5 is worth mentioning as, like the EV6, it looks much bigger in the metal than it does in a picture. While it doesn't have the aggressive looks and sporting prowess of the EV6, it's technically the same car with a different body and badge.

I had a great first experience with leasing from Select car leasing and am so happy with my new car David talked me through the whole process and answered any questions I had..he explained everything in basic terms so I knew and understood everything We waited a few days for the credit checks to come back and I asked David if it usually took this long..he assured me it did so I think it was about 5 working days and he rang with the good news The paperwork side of things then took over and once that was all completed,it was just to wait for a date The whole process was done over the portal so you could keep up to date with any developments but if you had any questions, then David was reachable by phone We had a date for the car delivery and the driver turned up after giving me a ring, earlier in the morning to confirm a time..the car arrived and I checked it over as we had to sign to say say everything was OK with the car. All is great and am so happy with my new car I would highly recommend this company for your lease car

Kia EV6 Frequently Asked Questions

Despite being Kia’s first attempt at an all-electric car, it’s hit the ground running with the sporty, dynamic EV6. It offers decent performance and handling, attractive exterior looks and a quality interior filled with technology thanks to its dual-screen layout of the infotainment system. It has garnered rave reviews since its launch and comes generously equipped, offering spaciousness, practicality and excellent range, all with an affordable monthly lease.

Moreover, it has an outstanding level of equipment, with vegan-friendly leather, smart cruise control, heated seats and steering wheel. It also comes with zero emissions thanks to its electrified powertrain and Kia’s famed reputation for reliability.

Given the rear-wheel drive models are single-motor, compared with the all-wheel drive dual-motor variants, choosing the former will get you a cheaper deal. We work hard to ensure our prices are as low as possible, and an entry-level rear-wheel-drive Kia EV6 could be yours for less than £475 a month. Please look at our website to see which variant provides the best fit for your needs and our car lease deals

Leasing a Kia EV6 will get you a very good electric car that exceeds Kia's own high standards, with aggressive, stylish looks, an interior fit for the future and a superb level of power, range and fast charging speeds. Standard equipment is generous, too, including dual 12.3-inch screens with heated vegan leather upholstered seats, a heated steering wheel, and keyless start and go. At the same time, higher trims get numerous add-ons which make life easier, such as an automatic boot lid and wireless phone charging.

It is, indeed, after scoring a five-star safety rating from crash-testing experts Euro NCAP, which included a very high 90% score for adult occupants, higher than most cars. In addition, all-wheel drive variants help provide additional grip. Standard safety equipment on all models includes rear parking sensors, a reversing camera and airbags, brake assist, forward collision avoidance, highway drive assist, lane follow, and lane keep assist, with higher trims adding even more. Inside, it’s a roomy car which competes with the best in its class for spaciousness.

There are three trims to choose from in the EV6: Air, GT-Line and GT-Line S. The latter two add some additional sporty touches to the exterior, although the EV6 looks the part in all trim levels. Air still gets you a generous level of equipment as standard, including the dual-screen setup and 19-inch alloys. Meanwhile, the higher trim levels get some additional luxurious touches, such as larger alloys, a panoramic glass sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and an automatic boot lid opening. The latter feature makes things easier if you're juggling shopping bags in the supermarket car park. While all versions get decent driving assistance systems, you'll also get several additional functions in the higher grades, especially in the top-of-the-range GT-Line S.
