The EV6 sits in Kia's range between the smaller EV3 and larger EV9 SUVs.

The very latest variants of the Kia EV6 feature a large 84 kWh long-range battery pack that means even entry-level models can travel up to 361 miles between trips to the plug.

Peak charging speeds stand at 258 kW, which allows you to take the energy in the battery from 10-80% in 18 minutes, or you can add 213 miles worth of range in just 15 minutes.

The list of standard-fit equipment on the newest models is impressive and includes 19-inch alloys, flush door handles, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, a pair of 12.3-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability which lets you use the vehicle's battery to power external devices.

Meanwhile there's also a performance EV6 - the EV6 GT - which can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 3.5 seconds courtesy of 577 hp.

If you want to get behind the wheel of a car that’s ‘modern, sleek and aerodynamic’, according to Kia, and which has ‘dynamism and purpose’, don't hesitate to contact us and one of our friendly staff will be happy to help.

Which Kia EV6 powertrain is right for me?

84 kWh Long Range

All new variants of the regular Kia EV6 now come with a 84 kWh battery equipped as standard. It provides a range of up to 361 miles between charges as well as healthy power of 225 bhp.

About the Kia EV6

The Kia EV6 was launched in 2021 as Kia's first-ever electric car and it promptly won the coveted European Car of the Year award.

Since then the EV6 has gone from strength to strength, with a major update in 2024 providing a larger, long-range battery at all levels which boosts the max range up to 361 miles.

The EV6 really looks the part, too, coming with an aggressive front end and coupe silhouette.

Because it's technically an SUV, the EV6 is more practical than it might look as well, boasting a 490-litre boot and plenty of space in the back for rear occupants.

Why lease a Kia EV6?

Kia’s EV6 provides SUV-like practicality with more than hot-hatchback performance.

If you need a spacious car to fit several passengers, it can accommodate your request.

But if you want a tearaway that can bang elbows with some of the fastest motors in the world, the range-topping 'GT' variant of the EV6 really can do that too.

Entry-level, rear-wheel drive examples of the Kia EV6 still pack a healthy 225 bhp and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 7.7 seconds.

Which trim level should I lease?

There are three trim levels on the Kia EV6: Air, GT-Line and GT-Line S.

The entry-level 'Air' trim is only available in rear-wheel drive but has 19-inch alloys, dual 12.3-inch screens, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, heated front seats, vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability which lets you use the vehicle's battery to power external devices, and safety tech such as Highway Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control.

GT Line

GT Line

The ‘GT-Line’ trim adds sportier exterior styling and the option of an all-wheel drive powertrain. Other upgrades include rear privacy glass, artificial leather upholstery, electric seat adjustment, and wireless gadget charging.

GT Line S

GT Line S

The eye-catching ‘GT-Line S’ trim features larger 20-inch alloys, a tilting and sliding sunroof, artificial suede upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, a premium sound system and power tailgate. Meanwhile performance GT models are packing 577 bhp and the pace to rival a supercar.

Kia EV6 Frequently Asked Questions

Despite being Kia’s first attempt at an all-electric car, the manufacturer really hit the ground running with the sporty, dynamic EV6. It offers strong performance and handling, attractive exterior looks and a quality interior filled with technology thanks to its dual-screen layout of the infotainment system. It has garnered rave reviews since its launch and comes generously equipped, offering spaciousness, practicality and excellent range, all with an affordable monthly lease.

Given the rear-wheel drive models are single-motor, compared with the all-wheel drive dual-motor variants, choosing the former will get you a cheaper deal. We work hard to ensure our prices are as low as possible, and an entry-level rear-wheel-drive Kia EV6 could be yours for less than you might think.

Leasing a Kia EV6 will get you a very good electric car that exceeds Kia's own high standards, with aggressive, stylish looks, an interior fit for the future and a superb level of power, range and fast charging speeds. Standard equipment is generous, too, including dual 12.3-inch screens with heated vegan leather upholstered seats, a heated steering wheel, and keyless start and go. At the same time, higher trims get numerous add-ons which make life easier, such as an automatic boot lid and wireless phone charging.

It is, indeed, after scoring a five-star safety rating from crash-testing experts Euro NCAP, which included a very high 90% score for adult occupants, higher than most cars. In addition, all-wheel drive variants help provide additional grip. Standard safety equipment on all models includes rear parking sensors, a reversing camera and airbags, brake assist, forward collision avoidance, highway drive assist, lane follow, and lane keep assist, with higher trims adding even more. Inside, it’s a roomy car which competes with the best in its class for spaciousness.

There are three trims to choose from in the EV6: Air, GT-Line and GT-Line S. The latter two add some additional sporty touches to the exterior, although the EV6 looks the part in all trim levels. Air still gets you a generous level of equipment as standard, including the dual-screen setup and 19-inch alloys. Meanwhile, the higher trim levels get some additional luxurious touches, such as larger alloys, a panoramic glass sunroof, a wireless phone charger, and an automatic boot lid opening. The latter feature makes things easier if you're juggling shopping bags in the supermarket car park. While all versions get decent driving assistance systems, you'll also get several additional functions in the higher grades, especially in the top-of-the-range GT-Line S. The Kia EV6 GT, meanwhile, is a fully-fledged performance vehicle with 577 bhp.
