Jaguar E-Pace Frequently Asked Questions
The E-Pace aims to bring the luxury, sporty appeal and historic brand name of Jaguar to the small SUV market. And it succeeds very well indeed. It looks the part and there are several different models and engine choices to suit different tastes. And crucially, it drives well too; this is a genuinely fun car to be in. On top of that, it has the practicality you want and expect of a small SUV. All of this makes it a very tempting small family car.

The latest E-Pace is a world away from what was, admittedly, a disappointing start to its presence in the Jaguar line-up. Today, the E-Pace is great fun to drive, available in several trim levels to veer more towards luxury or sportiness, and there’s a choice of punchy engines, including a plug-in hybrid model that promises up to 34 miles of electric-only driving from a single charge of its battery. A facelift in 2021 has also brought in an all-new infotainment system, and it’s the best Jaguar has ever done, with slick looks and lots of functionality. All this, and it’s spacious too.
The E-Pace was tested by Euro NCAP, an independent safety organisation, in 2017, and was awarded the maximum five-star score. Jaguar has continued to develop the car since then, and it now boasts an impressive array of standard safety features, with even more available on higher trim levels or as options. When it comes to practicality, there are rivals that have a bit more space in the rear and the boot, but the Jaguar isn’t bad at all. Two adults will have no issues getting the back, and there’s a good amount of luggage space in the boot. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models are available.
As well as the choice of several petrol and diesel engines, the E-Pace also boasts a plug-in hybrid model, and the choice of manual or automatic gearboxes, and front or all-wheel drive. Once you’ve decided which is for you, you’ve got an extensive range of trims to choose from. They’re broadly split into four categories, some of which have several sub-trim options. There’s the standard E-Pace, in S trim. Then there’s the sporty-looking R-Dynamic range, in S, SE and HSE trims, each with more features than the last. The R-Dynamic Black model has black styling elements inside and out (and lots of standard features), while the top-spec 300 Sport model has loads of kit and lots of power to match.
Great service, including post-delivery check ins (done with personality!) and most importantly regular updates regarding some minor delays - outside of their control - giving me full visibility of my options with no pressure. Will most likely stay with them at the end of this lease period.
Made the process as simple as possible The only problem was trying to sign/upload documents thro the portal - hopefully now fixed
I was extremely happy with Select Car Leasing. It was the first time I’d dealt with a car leasing company and they might it really easy and straight forward. I had loads of questions I bombarded them with and they always emailed me back almost straight away. They reassured me and kept me up to date. I was recommended by a family member and I would definitely recommend again. Thank you.
