Dacia Sandero Lease

The Dacia Sandero is, quite simply, one of the most affordable hatchbacks available to lease in the UK.

Yet despite the low monthly leasing fees, the Sandero is still a multi award-winner, being named Supermini of the Year by Auto Express in 2023, beating off stiff competition from the Skoda Fabia and Toyota Yaris

The Sandero sits as the entry point into the Dacia range, between the SUV-styled Sandero Stepway and the Jogger seven-seat estate

What’s unique about the Sandero is that it’s available with either a traditional petrol engine or a ‘Bi-Fuel’ unit, which can run on either regular petrol or LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas), which you can get at your local petrol station.

There are separate tanks for both the petrol and the LPG, and you just flick a switch between the two fuel types according to your needs. The advantage of running on LPG is that you can make fuel cost savings, while the Bi-Fuel engine also has slightly more power than the petrol-only powertrain - at 100 PS compared with 90 PS.

There are just a couple of trim levels, keeping your options nice and straightforward, while entry-level models feature full smartphone integration, a DAB radio, and an advanced emergency braking system.

The Dacia Sandero’s 328-litre boot is also larger than a host of rivals, including the Hyundai i10 and the MG3.

About the Dacia Sandero

When the Dacia Sandero first arrived in the UK in 2013, it was seen as something of a novelty, being an ultra-cheap hatchback that found an unlikely champion in Top Gear host James May.

Yet the Sandero has gone from being a source of amusement to being a major player in the market, and an essential form of transport for anyone looking for affordable motoring.

A facelift in 2023 gave the Sandero a smart, modern new front face, complete with a revised Dacia corporate logo as well as a revamped interior.

And you dismiss the Sandero at your peril, with the plucky hatchback having been named Auto Express’ Supermini of the Year for 2023.

Why lease a Dacia Sandero?

You lease a Dacia Sandero because you’re looking for a modern, smart, reliable hatchback from a manufacturer that specialises in creating affordable vehicles.

Dacia, owned by Renault, says the Sandero is all about ‘making your day to day much more stress free’, and comes with an interior that’s ‘easy to use and shockingly comfortable’.

Depending on which version of the Sandero you lease, you can expect creature comforts such as keyless entry, rear parking sensors, a rear view camera, and an 8-inch infotainment screen.

Meanwhile economical engines can also help to keep your fuel bills down.

Which Dacia Sandero fuel is right for me?

Petrol

The Sandero’s 1.0-litre petrol engine has power of 90 PS and can return up to 53 miles to the gallon.

Bi-Fuel

This engine can run on either petrol or LPG - and you can switch between the fuel tanks at the touch of a button. When running on LPG, you’ll enjoy a smoother, quieter ride quality while keeping fuel costs low.

Which Dacia Sadero trim level should I lease?
