BMW X2 Lease

The BMW X2 is a sleek and distinctive SUV-coupe that was revamped and relaunched in 2023, growing in size and coming with a muscular new stance.

The X2 sits in BMW’s range between the smaller X1 and the larger X3. The X2 also boasts a much more svelte profile than its other BMW ‘X’ siblings.

The BMW X2 sits in the range alongside the fully-electric iX2, and competes with rivals like the Audi Q3 and Range Rover Evoque.

You can expect plenty of room for the entire family, with increases to shoulder, elbow and knee room in the cabin, while the boot now measures 560 litres.

The petrol engines are supported by mild-hybrid technology and entry-level ‘M Sport’ models are capable of returning a wallet-friendly 47 miles to the gallon.

The cabin takes its inspiration from the much more expensive electric BMW iX.

BMW’s ‘Curved Display’ with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and 10.7-inch control display is standard. You can also choose the optional ‘BMW Digital Premium’ package, which lets you game or stream videos using a range of apps.

Sat nav, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors, automatic tailgate, and a reversing camera are fitted as par for the course, too.

The range-topping, performance X2 is the all-wheel drive, 300 hp M35i xDrive.

Here a potent 2.0 litre petrol engine works its magic to produce a 0-62 mph sprint of 5.4 seconds, while a built-in mechanical limited-slip differential maximises handling.

The BMW X2 M35i xDrive sits 15mm lower than a regular X2, and features prominent side skirt extensions, black M exterior mirror caps, a model-specific M rear spoiler, and a rear apron with diffuser inlay.

About the BMW X2

The BMW X2 was first launched in 2018, when it joined the growing ranks of compact SUV-hatchback crossovers like the Audi Q3,Range Rover Evoque and the more premium Porsche Macan.

However, the X2 got much more interesting in 2023 when a major facelift saw the SUV growing in size and while gaining a more aggressive stance.

The X2 is now more coupe-like than ever before, while a 560-litre boot means you don’t need to sacrifice practicality even with that sloping rear end.

Bona fide performance models are also up for grabs with a BMW X2 lease, with X2 M35i variants boasting power of 300 hp and rapid acceleration.

Why lease a BMW X2?

The BMW X2 slots neatly into the German manufacturer’s range between the smaller and more boxy X1 and the larger X3 SUV.

The X2 also isn’t to be confused with the fully-electric iX2, which was launched in late 2023, at the same time the traditionally-fuelled X2 was revamped.

You lease a BMW X2 because you want the space and practicality of an SUV but you want to drive a vehicle with more style, more panache, and with sleeker aerodynamics.

You might also lease a BMW X2 because you want performance to keep up with any hot hatchback, with the most potent models able to sprint from 0-62mph in just 5.4 seconds.
