And the A6 Avant e-tron was launched in 2024 as a fully-electric evolution of the traditionally-fuelled Audi A6 Avant.
A 100 kWh battery equates to power of at least 380 PS as well as a range of up to 437 miles between charges. Even the powerful S6 variants can journey 388 miles between trips to the plug.
The Audi A6 Avant e-tron is also exceedingly well equipped, with a cabin full of creature comforts and a full suite of driver assistance and safety systems.
An Audi A6 Avant e-tron lease differs from the Sportback variant in that you get a versatile estate body shape rather than a hatchback rear end with a saloon style exterior.

The A6 Avant e-tron launched with a rear-wheel drive ‘performance’ powertrain as the entry level. There’s power of 380 PS and a range of up to 437 miles between charges. Rapid 270 kW DC charging to take the energy in the 100 kWh battery from 10-80% in 21 minutes.
The sportier all-wheel drive S6 variants up the power to 550 PS and utilises 840 Nm of torque to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds. There’s also a generous range of up to 388 miles between charges.
The base ‘Sport’ grade features 20-inch alloys, heated front seats, three-zone air con, a 14.5-inch curved screen with a 11.9-inch driver display, front and rear parking sensors, a top view camera and leather seats. Driver assistance and safety tech includes adaptive cruise control, swerve assist and Audi’s self-parking system. A heat pump is also fitted as standard.
The S-Line trim adds sportier exterior styling, unique alloys, rear privacy glass, sport seats and an uprated steering wheel.
Audi A6 Avant e-tron Edition 1 models boast larger 21-inch alloys, Matrix LED lights, a black exterior style pack, Super Sport seats with heat preconditioning and ventilation, a heated steering wheel, and uprated safety tech including Audi’s ‘adaptive cruise assist plus’ system.
The Edition 1 trim also encompasses the all-wheel drive performance S6. Those dual-motor S6 models come with more power than the regular A6 Sportback e-tron and also feature adaptive air suspension, a fine Nappa leather interior with diamond stitching, an augmented reality head up display, massage seats, a panoramic glass roof, and a B&O sound system.
The BMW i5 Touring is another fully-electric estate that enjoys a range of around 344 miles between charges and is most potent in performance M60 xDrive form.
Sitting alongside the Volkswagen ID.7 Hatchback, the ID.7 Tourer enjoys a range of up to 425 miles between charges as well as a large 605-litre boot.
It’s the range-topping Audi S6 Avant e-tron that competes with the Porsche Taycan Sport Tursimo estate. The entry-level Taycan Sport Turismo comes with power of 408 PS.
Like the Taycan Sport Turismo, the Cross Turismo is a fully-electric estate that adds off-road styling and a raised ride height.
