The Audi A1 was unveiled to the world in 2010, going on sale in the UK later that year as a three-door version, with the five-door version, known as the Sportback, arriving in showrooms around a year later.
Currently, only the Sportback model is being offered.

Four trims are offered on the Audi A1 Sportback. The entry-level Technik has 15-inch alloy wheels, dynamic suspension, LED lights including dynamic indicators, automatically folding door mirrors, an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen with digital radio and voice control, plus a 10.25-inch digital cockpit display. In contrast, the Sport trim has some athletic styling touches, bigger wheels and selectable driving modes, and manually adjustable lumbar support. The S Line gets even larger wheels plus sports suspension, part leatherette upholstery, a leather sports steering wheel, metal pedals and a lighting pack. Finally, the top-of-the-line Black Edition gets even larger wheels at 18-inches and black styling elements including a black roof, plus paddle shifters.
